Plant Sale and Auction

The MPC Plant Sale and Auction is April 18, 2015!

We are excitedly preparing for the Plant Sale and Auction, working to make this a great and successful event for MPC. Not only will this be a fun-filled event (and a fun team!), we will use our success at this event to help us discern the extent to which this could be an annual event that would help our budget each year. We hope you’ll join us, and help us establish a fun, festive, event that can easily be re-created year after year.

How would we love for you to help? Let us count the ways…

  1. Join us in organizing the event. We have festive, friendly planning meetings, and want to invite you to participate in the way that works best for you. We need everything from people who can help with setting up and planning food and drink, entertainment, decorating, or assisting with set-up and clean-up, or people who want to help in setting up or organizing the auction portion. Did we mention the wine and chocolate in the meetings? Join us for an upcoming meeting, or contact Carrie McKiernan if you’d like to find the best way for you to participate.Email Carrie and let her know you’re interested.
  2. Donate Auction Items – we are beginning to get some exciting items, but we need many, many more! This auction will be only intangible items, so consider donating an event, your services, or access to some fun insider opportunity that you can provide. Stuck for ideas but would like to contribute? Download a list of ideas for auction donations. Are you ready to donate? Visit our Auction Item donation form to let us know what your donation will be.

If you have questions, please email Barbara Swenson, our Auction Donation Chair.

  3. Donate Plants – We’ll be seeking well established plants at the time of the plant sale. If you have a green thumb, and can get some started for us, please reach out to Amy Bess – we’d love to know what’s coming so we can plan accordingly.Have some plants you’re planning on donating?
